Have you been wondering about your financial future and if you'll ever be a financial success?
Chances are if you're asking these questions, you're on the right track. Read on after our topic to hear more about some great bloggers although first of all let's talk about your financial success!
Why you don't see yourself as a financial success?
While we aren't with you on a day to day basis and everyone will be different there's 3 key reasons we've identified why you feel you're not a financial success
- You're not a millionaire yet - If you're anything like most of the readers you wanted to be a millionaire yesterday right? Having goals and stretching to achieve them is great (find more on the importance of goals), being patient and appreciating the journey is important
- You're not getting anywhere - Are you really not getting anywhere? This is a perfectly reasonably response though. If you aren't actively tracking then of course you won't see yourself as a success in any aspect of life
- You don't own your time - If you are still working for someone else and trading time for money, it's likely you're not feeling like much of a "financial success". There is going to be a few of you out there who love your job and that is awesome. While working for someone else and trading time for money can lead to considering yourself as a "failure", it can be seen as a key part of the learning process.
We'll be following up with ways you can move yourself closer to financial success however what reasons do you have for not feeling like a financial success?
What we're continuing to do here at Money Glee is to continue acknowledging people in the personal finance (PF) & occasionally the broader blogging community, who are doing awesome & cool work!
We want to keep paying it forward & giving more back, so every second Thursday of the month there'll be a talk about them post. Check out September's post here if you're interested in taking a look at Steven from Even Steven Money and Anonymous from Quick Work for Life, another 2 great bloggers out there :)!
Leo from over at Zen Habits - While I don't personally have a connection to Leo, there are over 2 million of us who subscribe to his blog. Although this does not cover personal finance, the philosophy and habits that can be learnt by reading along is a great compliment for anyone looking to become more "successful"
Anonymous from over at The Mad Fientist - Who doesn't love a playful pun? If you're looking for finance geeks (yes they have become more popular), this is the place for you. We're loving the value that the Fientist is adding to the personal finance community and keep up the great work.
We'd love to thank everyone reading, be grateful for all of the comments, likes, shares etc and ask that if there are any topics you'd like to read about related to personal finance or life, hit us up.
If there is someone you read who we should be checking out let us know?
Any questions, comments you had about personal finance definitely let us know as well :). Remember to live your Money Glee!
