Stick around to the end to be introduced to some brand new bloggers!
Woah, woke up this morning to realise that 3/4's of the year has managed to disappear. If you find it please let us know :)!
In all seriousness though, the "speed" at which the year has gone could be a reason why you're possibly not more successful in life.
Before we kick off with reasons, we've got a secret for you, it's probably not your fault. This doesn't mean you're not able to get more intentional about how to design your life
Reasons why you're not more successful:
- You haven't created clear or any goals. While we tend to talk a lot about goals & your finances on the blog, read more about that here, if you're not clear on your direction, any path will take you there
- You've realised that there's always something else on. Procrastination is a natural thing for humans. It's alright we love Netflix, cat videos and reading great financial blogs as well. Funnily enough though the more things you say yes to the less things you can say yes to.
- You have goals although you don't know where to start. A common challenge a lot of us face. Another issue is chasing too many rabbits & catching none
- You simply don't want it enough. A perfectly valid excuse although success can usually be started from finding something you're passionate about. It's then a habit that will keep you going
Watch out on the blog for 5 reasons on how to become more successful, however for now it's time for us to bring you some personal finance rock-stars :)!
What we're continuing to do here at Money Glee is acknowledging people in the personal finance (PF) & occasionally the broader blogging community, who are doing awesome & cool work!
We want to keep paying it forward & giving more back, so every second Thursday of the month there'll be a talk about them post. Check out August's post here, if you'd like to see Todd from The Financial Mentor or Linda P Jones from Be Wealthy & Smart . These 2 powerhouses in personal finance who can certainly show you some great tips & tricks.
We're here to bring you 2 more great personal finance bloggers though, who you'll benefit from checking out!
Steven over at Even Steven Money - Have recently come across Steven & he's one funny dude who is adding great value to the PF community. Check out his Financial Independence day & strap in to watch him reach FI :)
Anonymous over at Quit Work for Life - While this blogger is anonymous, we know that they're a Kiwi & being an Aussie you've gotta love those Kiwi's ;).. In all seriousness though this young blogger is damn funny, motivated & on a journey. Check it out & ask them to speak about fish n chips! ;)
We'd love to thank everyone reading, be grateful for all of the comments, likes, shares etc and ask that if there are any topics you'd like to read about related to personal finance or life, hit us up.
What are your thoughts on why you're not more successful?
If there is someone you read who we should be checking out let us know?
Any questions, comments you had about personal finance definitely let us know as well :). Remember to live your Money Glee!
