BHi Money Glee'ers, welcome to another edition of talk about them and Thought Piece Thursday!
You're probably wondering what we mean by what is more important in life. What we'll be discussing today is whether time or money?
Time or Money?
The straight forward answer to this one is.... (drum roll please) It depends ;)! Nah we won't leave you in a state of frustration that we're sitting on the fence so here goes an answer from a Money Glee perspective:
By far the most important thing for us is time. Of course this is easy for us to say given that we're the "lucky" ones and have taken care of the basics. Hear us out though and here's why we perceive that time is more important
- It is the one resource we aren't able to create more of
- With more time you can create more money, you can't generally buy more time with money, at least not literally
- Money is unlikely to keep you warm at night. Being able to use the time with those you love and care about is a big part of our lives
- With the time you can then give back to others, which is important to us here and hopefully the broader Money Glee community
At the same time this is not a judgement anyone who says that Money is more important. Trust us Money comes a close second and is still important however it will depend on what stage of life and mindset you may be at!
How's about you, What is more important and why?
What we're continuing to do here at Money Glee is to continue acknowledging people in the personal finance (PF) & occasionally the broader blogging community, who are doing awesome & cool work!
We want to keep paying it forward & giving more back, so every second Thursday of the month there'll be a talk about them post. Check out January's post here if you're interested in taking a look at Paulie from Dropped Coin.
We're going to cut out 1 blogger and get more focused on 1 person to do them justice so here goes an updated version of talk about them! :)
This month we want to bring the Team at VTX Capital to your personal finance attention. Jeff and Ben have been around a few years and are passionate about helping you to understand what's going on out there in the personal finance space! Topics include how to use credit cards, tips for business owners or active vs. passive investing. Head over and check them out and let us know your thoughts!
We'd love to hear about new or up and coming bloggers you've heard about?
Thanks for reading and remember to live your Money Glee!
