Thought piece Thursday #52 - How is your year coming along? + talk about them (check out a great blogger)

It's amazing to consider that the year is nearly half over, how is your year coming along? At this stage we'll be racing around Africa likely somewhere in Tanzania checking out animals around the place. Once we're back down under in late August there'll be a big focus for me on getting into consistent investing and the career.

What this highlights though is the importance of review and checking those goals of yours. The 2 key questions that we look to ask ourselves are:

  1. What do these goals mean to me i.e. are they still relevant or do they need tweaking
  2. How am I tracking on these?

The purpose of the above questions will help you to clarify and understand how you tracking and if adjustments need to be made based on your goals at the start of the year.

We'll keep it short and sweet there and get on to spotlighting our blogger this month.

What we're continuing to do here at Money Glee is to continue acknowledging people in the personal finance (PF) & occasionally the broader blogging community, who are doing awesome & cool work!

We want to keep paying it forward & giving more back, so every second Thursday of the month there'll be a talk about them post.

This month we're bringing you Rohan over at The Wannabe Investor. The awesome thing about Rohan is that he's an Aussie, okay all jokes aside Rohan in the time that we've been reading his blog he has significantly reduced spending, secured a raise and increased the amount he is investing. Keep an eye out for this guy, he's going places! :)

We'd love to thank everyone reading, be grateful for all of the comments, likes, shares etc and ask that if there are any topics you'd like to read about related to personal finance or life, hit us up.

If there is someone you read who we should be checking out let us know.

Any questions, comments you had about personal finance definitely let us know as well :). Remember to live your Money Glee!
